Abstract:

“The Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge Questionnaire–Arabic Version (TPACK; Khine, Afari, & Ali, 2019) was adapted from the original TPACK questionnaire (Mishra & Koehler, 2006) to assess trainee teachers’ ability using information and communication technology in pedagogical settings. Guided by the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework (Shulman, 1987) and extended by Mishra & Koehler, 2006), the questionnaire consists of 36 items assessing six components: Technology Knowledge, Content Knowledge, Pedagogical Knowledge, Pedagogical Content Knowledge, Technological Pedagogical Knowledge, and Technology Pedagogical Content Knowledge. Items were translated from English into Arabic. Data were collected from female third-year pre-service teachers (aged 21 to 25 years). Confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation modeling, composite reliability, convergent validity, and discriminant validity were reported.
