“In the present chapter, the authors discuss theoretical aspects of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPCK or TPACK), as a framework and a body of knowledge, and provide a chronological account of its development. Based on a comprehensive review of the literature, the results are presented with a focus on the following aspects: (a) TPCK frameworks, (b) The integrative versus the transformative nature of TPCK as a body of knowledge, and (c) Domain-general vs. domain-specific TPCK.
