Abstract:

“Digital storytelling appears to be a feasible tool for developing Technological, Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) among future teachers in the domain of language arts. This chapter describes quasi-experiment empirical research that observed the development of English language TPACK among student teachers in an EFL context. Data collected from the 58 participants included the pretest and posttest scores of a TPACK survey,  open-ended questions  in  the  survey,  and  digital  assignment  files.  The chapter concludes that digital storytelling had important impact on the development of TPACK, and suggests English TPACK research and practices in EFL contexts.” (Prepublication version)
