Abstract:

“The need for effective technology integration into education is crucial to ensure that the students and teachers benefit from the tech-based learning experience. Using technology on a superficial level as attention grabber does not boost learning. A proper and meaningful pedagogical framework has long-lasting skill development for instructors. Without which , institutions run the risk of using technology without purpose, missing out on the full potential of its positive impact. Furthermore, because of digital technology’s rapid pace of change and development, the need for proper integration of technology and training of educators to effectively integrate digital tools into their classrooms is even more crucial than ever before It is also important for teachers to go beyond seeing technology as an add-on that superficially enhances their traditional classroom. One important integration model for tech in education is TPACK. The TPACK model integrates three major aspects of teacher knowledge, which include content (CK), Pedagogy (PK), and Technology (TK). In the paper the author has discussed the characteristics and applications of the technology integration model known as TPACK. This model focuses on the interplay between technological knowledge and subject matter specific pedagogical knowledge. A lesson plan for teaching mathematics for standard VII using TPACK has been presented. This will be helpful for teachers to understand the use of this model in the classroom.”
