Abstract:

“This study discusses Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) of senior high school English teachers in Pekanbaru. This research is aimed at examining how in-service teachers develop and apply TPACK throughout their teaching. The data were taken from 74 in-service English teachers of senior high school in Pekanbaru who were selected through simple random sampling. The instrument consists of 45 items for measuring in-service English teachers’ self-assessment of the 7 TPACK sub-domains. The result of validity test through Pearson Correlation showed that all items are valid. To test the questionnaire reliability using Alpha Cronbach’s test showed 0.975, which can be interpreted that the TPACK of English teachers of senior high school in Pekanbaru was in ‘good’ category. It implies that the teachers have been able to develop and apply their TPACK well.”
