“This chapter emphasises the value of Lesson Study in implementing the 21st-century curriculum and addressing the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR4.0) in education. Integrating them into teaching and learning with technological advancements like the Metaverse and AI generative tools becomes crucial. Lesson Study provides a collaborative framework for teachers to explore these tools in a supportive environment. The chapter discusses the conditions required for transposing Lesson Study, including digital leadership, teacher ICT skills, school digital transformation, and teacher collaboration culture. It also explores Lesson Study’s application in managing the computational thinking curriculum in Japan and its potential for other countries. Nurturing teachers’ digital competencies is highlighted for effective technology integration. Lesson Study offers insights and strategies for leveraging technology in education.”
