Abstract:
“India is a world leader in ICT. The digital India Campaign aids in the transformation of society, and education is a key component. To effectively educate our kids for the challenges of 21st-century learning, it is crucial to reframe education and review our educational system, curriculum, and pedagogical techniques (Singh S., 201). Since teachers are the ones who significantly alter society, it is imperative that the higher education system continually assesses the calibre of teacher educators. Teachers should be aware of the 4IR requirements today, which calls on them to adapt their methods of instruction for 21st-century classrooms. “Education 4.0 is a reaction to IR4.0’s requirements, where technology and people are collaborating to create new possibilities” (Anealka, 2018). Teachers and educators must equip pupils with the 21st-century skills required by the 4IR if they are to enter and remain relevant in the workforce. However, if teachers lack the appropriate knowledge of 4IR, kids won’t be able to acquire such abilities. As a result, the word “TPACK” has evolved, which will aid in improving the calibre of instructors. The information necessary for successful technology integration in the teaching-learning process is known as technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK). The demand of today’s society is the combination of pedagogical knowledge, content knowledge, and technical knowledge. The researcher will shed light on the development of TPACK and how using TPACK might improve teaching quality in the current study.”
